The Power of Praise

Spread the love

The Power of Praise: God appreciate a praising heart, no matter what you

may be passing through because your praise can move mountains, sometimes

what you need is a joyful praise unto the Lord, your genuine praise and worship can

move God than prayer, if you are passing through temptation, trials, your quality

genuine praise and worship can deliver your answer to you

Rather than murmuring against God, praise him call Him by His name,

the bible says in the book of Job 13:14-16 Wherefore do I take my flesh in my teeth,

and put my life in mine hand? Though he slays me, yet will I trust in him: but I will

maintain mine own ways before him, He also shall be my salvation: for a hypocrite

shall not come before him (KJV). The Power of Praise

Despite what Job was passing though he did not use his problems to murmur, he

praise God instead. The bible says in Psalm 29: Give unto the Lord, O ye mighty, give unto the Lord glory

and strength.Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters. The

voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty. The voice of the Lord breaketh the

cedars; yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon. He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon

and Sirion like a young unicorn. The voice of the Lord divideth the flames of fire. The voice of the Lord

shaketh the wilderness; the Lord shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh. The voice of the Lord maketh the

hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory. The

Lord sitteth upon the flood; yea, the Lord sitteth King for ever. The Lord will give strength unto his

people; the Lord will bless his people with peace (KJV). The Power of Praise:

Take a look at Jehoshaphat in the book of 2 Chronicles 20:18-22 (KJV).

Jehoshaphat bowed down with his face toward the ground. All the people of Judah

and Jerusalem also bowed down, They worshiped the Lord, Then some Levites from

the families of Kohath and Korah stood up. They praised the Lord, the God of Israel,

They praised him with very loud voices, Early in the morning all

the people left for the Desert of Tekoa. As they started out,

Jehoshaphat stood up. He said, “Judah, listen to me! People of Jerusalem, listen to me!

Have faith in the Lord your God, He’ll take good care of you, Have faith in his

prophets. Then you will have success.” Jehoshaphat asked the people for advice,

Then he appointed men to sing to the Lord. He wanted them to praise

the Lord because of His glory and holiness. They marched out in front of the army.

And They said, “Give thanks to the Lord, His faithful love continues forever,” They

began to sing and praise him, Then the Lord hid some men and told them to wait,

He wanted them to attack the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, They had

gone into Judah and attacked it. But they lost the battle, The Ammonites and

Moabites rose up against the men from Mount Seir, They destroyed them. They put

an end to them. When they finished killing the men from Seir, they destroyed one

another. The bibe says 1 Peter 2: Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and

envies, and all evil speakings, As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow

thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. To whom coming, as unto a living stone,

disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a

spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus

Christ.Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect,

precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.Unto you therefore which believe he is

precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is

made the head of the corner, And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which

stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. But ye are a chosen

generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises

of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; Which in time past were not a

people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against

the soul; Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as

evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;

Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise

of them that do well. For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of

foolish men: As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.

Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king. Servants, be subject to your masters

with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward. this is thankworthy, if a man

for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. what glory is it, if, when ye bebuffeted

your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this

is acceptable with God. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving

us an example, that ye should follow his steps:Who did no sin, neither was guile found in

his mouth:Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but

committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on

the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls

(KJV). The Power of Praise: The Bible also says Psalm 7:17 I will praise the Lord according to his

righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the Lord most high (KJV).

The also says in Psalm 103: Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy

name.Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who

healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with

lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is

renewed like the eagle’s. The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed. He

made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel. The Lord is merciful and

gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger

for ever. He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the

heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is

from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children,

so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust. As

for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. For the wind passeth over it,

and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more. But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting

to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children; To such as keep

his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them. The Lord hath prepared his

throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all. Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in

strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. Bless ye the Lord, all ye his

hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure. Bless the Lord, all his works in all places of his

dominion: bless the Lord, O my soul (KJV). The Power of Praise:

Learn how to use praise in all your situations because God is a God of praise

and when we praise Him, God feels moved and happy.

I pray these prayer into your life:

1.God will arise and will turn all your trials into testimonies in Jesus mighty name Amen.
