The Angry Heart

Spread the love

The angry heart, an angry heart is a heart that is slow to hear and fast to speak, all what they do is always in anger,

majority of the people that have these character are hard to control, they may be caring, lovely,

givers but any small thing or mistake that someone make can make them be so angry that they will destroy it all.

The Bible in Proverbs 16:32:He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth

his spirit than he that taketh a city (KJV). And in Ephesians 4:26-27, 31-32 Be ye angry, and sin not:

let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil,Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger,

and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: be ye kind one to another,

tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you (KJV).

Also in Psalms 37:8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil (KJV).

If someone is an angry type he/she will love to have revenge, anger can make you destroy what you have been doing

for years, for example: if you have a short tempered boss in the office any little mistake you make,

you will be sacked and they never appreciate what you do for them because their anger overwhelm them,

these also goes to wife, husband, friends, children and many more, a short tempered person can’t please God

because no matter how the person loves God that anger will always be the but there, that is why God said we should

be far from anger, and be of a calm mind because there is nothing done with anger that become successful,

if a builder is building a house no matter how beautiful

the house is and how long it took them to build it

anger can destroy the house down in just one second,

so please my fellow brethren be swift to hear, slow to speak

and slow to wrath, don’t communicate by using anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy and filthy communication

because a soft answer turns away wrath but grievous words stir up anger, the Lord said in Proverbs 25:28:

He that [hath] no rule over his own spirit [is like] a city [that is] broken down, [and] without walls (KJV).

Also in Ecclesiastes 7:9 :Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools (KJV).

And in Proverbs 14:29: is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly (KJV).

Try and have a a peaceful heart not an angry heart, serve God

with all your heart, you may be a man of God or an evangelist and still be short tempered,

we shouldn’t let the things of the world take away the kingdom of God from us.

Illustration giving: There’s a man; he use woods to build houses, he will go into the forest

to look for woods to build, the trouser he normally wears to the forest to look for wood one leg

is bigger than the other so other kids makes fun of him, but any time he comes back from the forest,

not matter how many woods he has; once those kids starts making fun of him, he will fall all the woods

down with anger and be chasing those kids because he can’t tolerate and he’s the best in making the wood

house in their community. One day, a rich man heard of his skills and offered him a job

for him to build house with wood and the job can make him wealthy; that was how the man

went to forest as usual and looked for really good woods because he wants to impress the rich man

but after he took enough woods to build the house, that was how those kids started making fun of him,

he got angry and drop the woods down to chase the kids but he thought that he put the woods on the floor

not knowing that he threw the woods in the sea and the kind woods he picked is rear and it grows once in a while.

after chasing the kids when he came back he realized that he accidentally threw the wood into the sea,

and the can’t get another one of that kind for the season so he went to take normal woods to build the house

after he was done the rich one went to see the house but the man refused the house because the wood isn’t

what he promised to use. The rich man told him that if he had done the house well he wanted to

make him rich but he didn’t to it right; that was how the man lost his opportunity to be wealthy due to anger.

The man represent human, the woods represent wealth, the kids represent temptation that one should

overcome because it take away goodness, the man represent opportunity for human, in life if you can’t

resist anger and temptation, you will lose opportunities. Look at God, our father our creator; He is slow to anger

because if He should be angry for every human mistakes, God could have destroy the world,

but He is slow to anger and great in mercy. The bible says in 2 Peter 3:9-14:The Lord is not slack

concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing

that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as

a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements

shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy

conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the

heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we,

according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in

peace, without spot, and blameless (KJV). We as God creation need to claim because only

when we are calm, we will be able to fulfill God’s will and overcome sin, satan and his agent.

The Angry Heart: let’s look at when Jesus got arrested by the Pharisees, out of anger

Peter cut off Malchus’s ear, despite they wanted to arrest Jesus, but Jesus said that

he shouldn’t do that because it is written; if it weren’t so, didn’t His father in Heaven

in has a lot of solders to defend Him. That was how Jesus took the ear from the ground

and place it back in Malchus’s ear. If anger could solve situations then Peter’s anger

could have rescued Jesus from been arrested but because it’s written for Jesus to die for

us on the cross of Calvary, to cleanse our sins; so therefore, anger had nothing to offer humans, it’s only destruction.

Let Me Tell You A Real-Life Story Concerning The Angry Heart:

There’s a couple they always misunderstand each other, they used to fight a lot that the wife used

to get injured but one day, while they were having a misunderstanding, the husband got so angry

that he stabbed his wife to death. Look at what anger can do; also: two people where arguing in the

public, while they where exchanging words, one of them got angry and slapped the other one; but

the other one passed out immediately. Do you see now what anger can course, anger isn’t good it

spoils good things. The Bible says in James 4:1:From whence come wars and fightings among you?

come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? (KJV). The Bible also says

Romans 12:17-21: Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not

yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay,

saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so

doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with

good (KJV). The bible says in James 1:19-20:Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be

swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God (KJV).

Jesus says in Luke 17:3-4: Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee,

rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. if he trespass against thee seven times in a day,

seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him (KJV).

I pray into your life that the grace to be peaceful minded, to be slow to wrath and anger shall fall on you in Jesus mighty name Amen
