Jesus And His Disciples

Spread the love

Jesus and His disciples, To be a leader you will not be conceited and too ambitious and you will always be a conferrer,

as a leader you have to be a good example, as a leader, you can’t be a cheater, betrayer,

backbiter and still also want to be a good leader to your followers. For example you as a

boss of a company that’s too ambitious and did not care about the company reputation,

or you as a leader in a town that doesn’t care about the right of the people,

you will make rules and still violate it, is that what is called a leader?

Let’s see Jesus as a leader, Jesus led his disciples unto righteousness,

despite Jesus is a messiah he still lower himself and looked for fishermen, tax collector and led them unto righteousness, Jesus was a good leader among his disciples,

Jesus said in Matthew 5:37:But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay,

nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil (KJV).

As a leader you have to be a God-fearing and humble leader, look at the way

Jesus and His disciples are really close despite He was a messiah, He loves them

and taught them how to love. Jesus said in John 13:13-17: Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well;

for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you

an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord;

neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them (KJV).

Leaders aren’t to oppress and overpower others with their authority like the way Gentiles practised instead leaders serve others,

in any situation you may be passing through, a good leader won’t allow his/her followers to experience tribulation. Because God is the owner of all position.

Let’s Look at the story of king Menahem:

“King Menahem, son of Gadi, conspired against King Shallum, he went up from Tirzah to kill King Shallum in Samaria and usurped the throne.

Afterward, King Menahem attacked Tiphsah, those in the city and its vicinity, because they refused to open the gates of their city to him,

neither did they submit to him as a conqueror or receive him as their king. King Menahem attacked the city of Tiphsah,

he cut open the bellies of all pregnant women in Tiphzah and its vicinity, killing the mother and the unborn baby”.

What a wicked leader, God is owner of all position and in His mercy He enthrone and dethrone but as a leader,

don’t make your leadership be a tribulation to your followers. When a leader rules with the will and fear of God,

his/her followers will live by the example, as I said earlier, God owns all position, if you’re a leader, you need to lead in a way that pleases God just like Jesus and His diciples.

The Bible says in 1 Timothy 3:1-7:This is a true saying, if a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.

A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; One that ruleth well his own house,

having his children in subjection with all gravity; (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall

he take care of the church of God?) Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.

Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil (KJV).

Hear what the bible said, nowadays how many leaders are following what the bible said, lead to please the Lord,

you should lead in the fear of God and also the will of God. When Solomon became king, he asked God to give him

wisdom in order to lead in the right way and God did so. When two women were fighting because of a child,

they went to King Solomon in order to settle the case, both women said that the child is theirs but because

king Solomon as asked the Lord to give him wisdom to lead in the right way, then king Solomon made a decision

to split the child in half in order to test both women, one of the women said that they should split the child in half

and share it among them but the other woman said that they shouldn’t hurt the child, that’s how king solomon know the mother of the child.

A bad leader likes a lying tongue, but a good leader follows a truthful tongue, you should lead in a Godly way,

Jesus led His disciples in the way they should go and even when He departed from them, they didn’t depart from it.

The bible says in Proverbs 17: Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than an house full of sacrifices with strife.

A wise servant shall have rule over a son that causeth shame, and shall have part of the inheritance among the brethren.

The fining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold: but the Lord trieth the hearts. A wicked doer giveth heed

to false lips; and a liar giveth ear to a naughty tongue. Whoso mocketh the poor reproacheth his Maker:

and he that is glad at calamities shall not be unpunished. Children’s children are the crown of old men;

and the glory of children are their fathers. Excellent speech becometh not a fool: much less do lying lips a prince.

A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that hath it: whithersoever it turneth, it prospereth. He that covereth

a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends. A reproof entereth more

into a wise man than an hundred stripes into a fool. An evil man seeketh only rebellion: therefore a cruel messenger

shall be sent against him. Let a bear robbed of her whelps meet a man, rather than a fool in his folly. Whoso rewardeth

evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house. The beginning of strife is as when one letteth out water:

therefore leave off contention, before it be meddled with. He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just,

even they both are abomination to the Lord. Wherefore is there a price in the hand of a fool to get wisdom,

seeing he hath no heart to it? A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. A man void of understanding

striketh hands, and becometh surety in the presence of his friend. He loveth transgression that loveth strife:

and he that exalteth his gate seeketh destruction. He that hath a froward heart findeth no good: and he that hath

a perverse tongue falleth into mischief. He that begetteth a fool doeth it to his sorrow: and the father of a fool hath no joy.

A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. A wicked man taketh a gift out

of the bosom to pervert the ways of judgment. Wisdom is before him that hath understanding; but the eyes of a fool

are in the ends of the earth. A foolish son is a grief to his father, and bitterness to her that bare him. Also to punish

the just is not good, nor to strike princes for equity. He that hath knowledge spareth his words: and a man of understanding

is of an excellent spirit. Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding (KJV).

Which Jesus demonstrated when He “made Himself of no reputation, taking the form

of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. Jesus said in

Mark 10:42-45: But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know

that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship

over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them.

But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you,

shall be your minister:And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all,

For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister,

and to give his life a ransom for many (KJV). The bible says in 1 Timothy 4:12:Let no man despise thy youth;

but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity (KJV).

Jesus and His disciples: You as the head of your family, you are a leader but when you did not lead by the way of the lord how

will you raise a humble, respectful and a deferential follower to become leaders,

definitely it’s the way they are brought up they will go. Jesus said in

Matthew 7:17-20: Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit;

but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit, A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit,

neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit, Every tree that bringeth

not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire,

Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them (KJV). Jesus and His disciples: so therefore you as a leader,

lead in a Godly way and with the fear of God, remember that God made you a leader,

it is not your grace, power and knowledge that makes you a leader, God saw someone else

before putting you in that position, don’t think it is your wisdom that take you there,

remember that God gave us the position and power, and he can also take it back,

so lead righteously and the power to lead in fear of God shall dwell in you in Jesus name Amen
